Hacksaw Ridge Scene
In this scene, several shots are used such as Extreme Wide Shots, Long Shots and Close Ups.
They are used for capturing the battlefield and showing the soldiers' expressions in the midst of war etc.
A few times throughout the scene as the size of capture varies
Desmond Doss' who was a medic in WW2 who refused to carry any firearm after accidentally almost killing his brother in his childhood years.
The POV is rather just fixated on one, it does not really vary at all.
It moves quite frequently to capture the chaos of war, creating a gloomy, gritty atmosphere.
It really tells the story to be accurately hectic and unforgiving
It projects a calm before the storm type of feel, as the action erupts shortly after the opening of the scene
Because the sense of having the camera all over the place helps capture the whole battle and can add to the chaotic atmosphere
Again, the camera's non-fixated movement aids the adrenaline that all the soldiers are feeling.
The shots change very quickly, as its a scene of action, as many films do.
In this Bar scene, there are a number of shots that could be used.
Many Over The Shoulder shots could be utilised, capturing a dialogue scene and creating tension. Close up shots could also demonstrate this.
To show a top/aerial view of the bar could also be effective too. This would give it a good tinge and variety in the types of shot.

Excellent identification and understanding of camerawork Jed. Well done!
